Mathew Irsak has been a keen drummer since he was 7 years old.
In January 1997, at the age of 12 Mathew received his first endorsement, from Zildjian Cymbals.
This made Mathew the youngest Australian drummer to receive such endoresment.
Yamaha drums were quick to show their support, endorsing Mathew and making him Australia’s only Junior clinician.
Mathew’s professional career has grown and taken him towards doing session work for various artists, teaching beginners to advanced drum lessons and writing instructional books. This book called Drumming Essentials shows Mathew’s approach to learning the drums.
